Propitiation for Our Sins

1 John 4:10 says, “In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” Propitiation is a big word that we don’t use everyday.  But, in Scripture it is a very important word.  It is important because it tells us that through the death of Jesus Christ, God’s just and holy wrath has now been turned away from us.
